Connection, The Lume

Connection takes visitors on a journey of discovery across Australia, bringing to life the stories, art, and culture of First Nations Peoples through multi-sensory art and dynamic interactivity.
 
A breathtaking production, Connection uses cutting-edge visual, audio and aroma technologies to transform original artworks from First Nations artists – including Emily Kame Kngwarreye, Albert Namatjira, Tommy Watson, Gabriella Possum Nungurrayi, Anna Pitjara, Lin Onus & Konstantina – into a powerfully rich and interactive celebration of Country, culture, and community.
 
Further captivating the visitor, the musical score includes a blend of traditional ceremonial songs along with contemporary contributions from well-known First Nations artists. The musicians originate from all over Australia – from Northern Victoria to the Central Desert in Utopia, and all the way to Arnhem land and the Torres Strait. Artists featured in Connection include Yothu Yindi, William Barton, Archie Roach, Gurrumul, Alice Skye, Emily Wurramarra and Baker Boy.
